I like the composition of the pictures. Is this about you trying to visualize your mother's descriptions of rural Vietnam?
My mom usually doesn't describe it, but in the past she does cry/contemplate/lost with video images of rural Vietnam. Your comment makes me realize as if I tried to UNDERSTAND conceptually rather than EMPATHETICALLY visulize her feelings. The latter is probably hard without some basis...
